Eucharistic Adoration If you are not able to sign up for an hour of adoration, you are most welcome to come at your convenience. Mother Theresa of Calcutta once said “What we need to convert Souls and save the world is to come before Jesus in the Blessed sacrament in Holy Hours of Prayer.”
Altar Servers Boys and girls of the parish in Primary 4 and above are welcome to assist at the liturgy. For more information about training and assignments, contact the Parish Office.
Eucharistic Ministers Extraordinary Ministers of The Eucharistic provide assistance with serving the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass. Ministers of the Word Readers proclaim the Word of God (Scriptures) at Mass and at other liturgical services. For more information on becoming a Reader, contact Mary Muir or Paddy Stewart.
Parish Adult Choir Our Parish Choirs generally sing at Mass on Sunday mornings and at the Saturday Vigil Mass in Carrickfergus, from September to June, as well at special Liturgical services throughout the year. Choir rehearsals are conducted regularly. The choirs welcomes new members throughout the year. For information on becoming a member of the choir, contact our Parish Office.
Sacristan Duties include preparing the altar for Mass and cleaning the altar following Mass.
Welcomers stand in the porch of the Church and welcome people to our Sunday Masses. They greet them with a warm smile and pass them a copy of our Bulletin. If a person is new or visiting our Parish or they will help them orientate themselves providing key information as required. Welcomers are the first point of contact with our Parish and first impressions count.
